Mark Henes: A Real Iron Man Tours for Blood

06/26/2019 10:34 PM | Deleted user

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (July 1, 2019) - There are real iron men and women out there and Mark Henes is one of them. He is touring to promote his upcoming studio album release Crystallized Reflections. His newest single “Strip Me Down” will be released in the late summer of 2019. He has shows in the United States coming up; get tickets here: www.markhenes.com

He will donate 10% of his earnings from this tour to the Iron Disorders Institute (www.irondisorders.org). This is a national non-profit organization dedicated to informing the public about iron disorders like hereditary hemochromatosis or iron overload.

Giving blood can allow the body to move iron from organs that may not only save a life, but reduce the risk of other illnesses. Iron overload is a metabolic disorder that causes the body to store too much iron in the organs; specifically heart, liver and joints. This can cause diabetes, arthritis, heart failure, and other illnesses to occur prematurely.
