The Songwriters Association of Washington (SAW.org), in association with Spotlight on the Arts and with grant support from the City of Fairfax Commission on the Arts, will present the first-ever Fairfax Folk Festival on April 24–26 at Fairfax City’s newest music venue, Mackenzie’s Tunes & Tonics. The festival is hosted with the support of venue owner Josh Alexander.
The three-day event will feature more than 35 of the area’s most gifted performers and award-winning songwriters. The performance schedule will be announced soon and will be available on this website and at SAW’s website.
The event is free to attend but we are selling special seating privileges to help defray the cost.
