SAW is thrilled to bring together the best local talent to present a very special fundraising concert to benefit the Takoma Park Folk Festival (TPFF). This free annual festival (on Sunday, September 8 this year) features traditional and trending folk arts, musicians, crafters, kids' activities and more.  Help us support this fabulous community tradition and come hear some of the area's most talented performers.

Our featured performers:

Fresh from just winning the Mid Atlantic Bluegrass Competition, The Fly Birds are an alternative bluegrass trio comprised of sisters Elizabeth Baker and Mary Dunlap, and Sarah Twigg. Their unique vocals as well as original style of folk music is topped off with tasteful songwriting skills and a charming stage presence to create a memorable and honest sound.

Conor & The Wild Hunt is a Progressive Indie Folk band intent on inspiring positive change in a troubled world. With artful and driving instrumentation, impassioned duets, blooming three part harmonies, and a compelling stage presence, Conor & The Wild Hunt animates soulful original songs with modern takes on Americana traditions.

Recently featured in Acoustic Guitar magazine, Yasmin Williams is an acoustic fingerstyle guitarist with an unorthodox, modern style of playing. Her music has been commonly described as refreshing, relaxing, and unique and has been called some of the most imaginative guitar music out today.

Reserve your seat with your tax deductible contribution of only $25.

Songwriters' Association of Washington is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
