SAW Workshop with Jon Carroll

Jon Carroll is an expert in the three Rs of songwriting, wRiting, Recording and Rhythmatic.  Jon has won a few grammys. He is a life-long musician and songwriter of note.  He was a founding member of the Starland Vocal Band.  Jon has been a part of Mary Chapin Carpenter's band forever. He wrote the Linda Rondstadt hit, "Get Closer" as well as others. He has toured with many great musicians, Rodney Crowell, Dixie Chicks, Peter Wolf & Eric Lindell, to name a few.

Jon, who used to live in our area while accomplishing all these things has relocated with his wife to New England.  He will be in town the weekend of April 8th and will lead a workshop in song completion. From composing through arranging and recording your songs, Jon will give a shortened version of his college course entitled  The Three Act Structure in Composing, Arranging & Producing Music.
