The SAW Songwriter’s Showcase at Quench
Hosted by Jay Keating of Know1Else
Quench Restaurant is a bistro bar and night spot that has been doing music for a while.
Jay Keating and Kelly Diamond will be hosting a regular SAW event every second Saturday Evening. We are hoping to draw upon the traditions created at other SAW venues like The Epicure, 219, Brewer's Alley, etc. but with a Saturday night vibe. The showcase style will be our model and a high quality show will be our aim.
The Showcase will start Saturday April 11th. Sound will be provided.
Quench is a destination restaurant so we are looking for performers to help in getting folks out. SAW, Kelly, Jay and the people at Quench are dedicated to helping drive a good turnout too. Let's make this place a Saturday scene to be seen and heard!
Has a sound that tells you his influences are Dylan, Johnny Cash and Townes Van Zandt with some bluegrass thrown in. He plays all over Frederick and we hope to make him famous down here in MoCo.
Annette Wasilik w Kevin Dudley
Her performances are marked by her compelling alto and moving songs that "touch you to the bone". In the tradition of the poet-songwriter and with rich tones reminiscent of Linda Thompson or Natalie Merchant, she weaves a spell both startling in its intimacy and expansive in its vision.
